Welcome to our 35th wedding anniversary trip.  Follow along as we explore Sanibel Island.  Kathy loves to search for sea shells. She was told of this island years ago by her Aunt Bonnie.  Last year Earl and Debbie Howard visited Sanibel Island and loved it. This renewed Kathy’s interest in going to the island.

-- Sanibel & Captiva Islands are located off the coast of southwest Florida, just west of Fort Myers, Florida.

Sanibel Island measures roughly 12 miles long and three miles across at its widest. Little sister Captiva Island has more compact measurements of approximately four miles long and ½ mile wide.

Sanibel Island is world renowned for its shelling beaches and the "Sanibel Stoop".
